Being Updated
High Tech Elementary Explorer in San Diego got some local press recently for their cool student showcase. The kids showed off projects that mixed tech, science, and art. They had digital portfolios, robotics stuff, and team multimedia projects for their families and folks from around town. It really showed how much the school focuses on learning by doing and using tech.
They even had stations where parents and little brothers and sisters could mess around with coding, VR, and design stuff. The school wants learning to be fun and useful. People from the community and tech volunteers came to give the kids advice about using STEM skills in the real world. The teachers are planning new after-school clubs about digital media, engineering, and art for next semester.
All this shows that the school is serious about getting kids ready for the future, involving the community, and letting kids be creative as the school year goes on.
