Albert Einstein Academies

Albert Einstein Academies is a public charter school in San Diego, California that serves students in grades K–8. This is mainly due to the fact that the principal of the elementary school campus was dismissed abruptly without any prior notice. The community of staff and families were in disbelief when the superintendent of the school announced that a credential requirement was the reason for the principal's departure and that she had been in charge of the academy for more than ten years. Teachers, parents, and alumni of the school reacted negatively to the decision. Many of them were so dissatisfied with the lack of communication that they demanded the presence of an emergency school board meeting to get answers.
