In October 2025, teachers from Twin Rivers Unified, including Foothill Oaks Elementary, held a rally to protest low pay and staffing issues. This could lead to a strike if talks don't go anywhere.

Ans. Yes, Foothill Oaks Elementary has after-school programs that help students with their schoolwork, give them extra activities, and let them play games with adults.
Q3. What languages does the school's curriculum support?
Ans. The school mostly teaches in English, but it does help English Language Learners (ELL) and has resources for students who speak a variety of languages.
Q4. What does Foothill Oaks Elementary do to keep students safe?
The school has safety rules in place to keep students safe, such as secure campus access, emergency drills, and a staff member who is always available to help.
Q5. Are there ways for parents to get involved at the school?
Ans. Yes, parents can help out with school projects by joining the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), volunteering in classrooms or at school events, and going to regular meetings.
