There is a lot of excitement at Juniper Elementary in Redding, California! The school just welcomed students back from winter break and is starting the new year with fun events, like a whale-watching trip for 5th graders. On January 15, the PTA is also having a Panda Express fundraiser, and on January 16, the second-grade family day at lunch will take place. The School of Choice application period for the 2026–2027 school year is also open until January 30.
Q1. How does Juniper make it easy for students to learn?
Ans. Juniper has a friendly environment that makes students feel comfortable asking questions, taking part, and building their confidence in learning.
Q2. Do you do safety drills on a regular basis?
Ans. The school follows the district's safety rules and has regular emergency drills.
Q3. What does Juniper do to get students to get involved?
Ans. Teachers keep students interested and involved all day at school by giving them lessons, having them talk about things, and giving them projects to work on.
Q4. How does the school help new students who start in the middle of the year?
Ans. Juniper helps kids get used to new places by giving them orientation help and introductions to other kids.
Q5. Is Juniper only for students who live far away?
Ans. Yes, lessons are taught through an online learning platform.
