The Rio School District recently shared some highlights from the 2025 Oxnard Christmas Parade, where students and families from school sites like Rio del Norte took part in the community procession, showing their school spirit and holiday spirit.
Q1. Does Rio del Norte have programs for kids before or after school?
Ans. Yes, the school has programs before and after school that include supervised care, help with schoolwork, and fun activities.
Q2. Does Rio del Norte offer programs for English language learners (ELL)?
Ans. Yes, Rio del Norte has special classes and support services for English language learners to help them improve their language skills and academic skills.
Q3. How does the school talk to parents and guardians?
Ans. The school keeps families up to date on school events and student progress through newsletters, parent meetings, conferences, and regular messages.
Q4. What kinds of activities outside of school or to improve their skills do students have?
Ans. Students can take part in extra activities like art, music, gym, and some after-school clubs.
Q5. Do students get rides from Rio del Norte?
