To grow, STREAM Charter School needs to put all of its grades together in Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The school recently added teachers to its staff list who are experts on the K–8 curriculum. The school is a public charter school that doesn't charge tuition, but it is still holding information sessions for families who want to learn more about project-based learning.
Q1. Are there any foreign language electives at STREAM Charter?
Ans. The school offers beginner language classes to help students learn more about how people from different cultures communicate and see the world.
Q2. Does STREAM Charter have a robotics team?
Ans. Students can take part in competitive robotics challenges that test their ability to design things and solve hard problems.
Q3. Does STREAM Charter hold a science fair every year?
Ans. Students show off the results of their project-based learning to the Oroville community at a big event.
Q4. Does STREAM Charter have uniforms for students?
Ans. Students must follow a dress code that makes the classroom a professional and focused place for everyone to learn.
Q5. Does STREAM Charter take students on trips to learn outside?
Ans. Middle school students often go on overnight trips to learn about local ecosystems and improve their leadership skills by working together.
