The Butte County Office of Education is working with Sierra Avenue Elementary School to add more after-school programs that will be good for the school. This program helps kids with their homework and gives them a safe place to play every day until 6:00 PM. The school also takes part in safety drills that happen all over the district to make sure that all students and staff are ready for dangers in their area.
