Freedom Crest Elementary is currently taking part in a district-wide challenge to be more environmentally friendly by cutting down on food waste during lunch. The school's PTA is putting the finishing touches on plans for the "Spring Carnival," which will be the biggest community event on campus this year. It will take place on March 27. This month, teachers are using Wednesday modified days to work on new ways to teach math and reading that are different for each student.

Ans. The school is working on a challenge across the district to cut down on food waste during lunch for all grades.
Q2. What is the biggest event in the community each year at Freedom Crest Elementary?
Ans. The PTA puts on a Spring Carnival with games and activities to bring families and school staff together.

Ans. Students in higher grades can join the Student Council to plan events and speak for their classmates.

Ans. The school takes part in Read Across America Week by having guest readers and literacy activities with a theme for the students.
