Bill Cannon, a beloved second-grade teacher who worked at Rancho Las Positas Elementary for 34 years, is retiring. The Board of Education also recently praised the school's Transitional Kindergarten team for their great work in teaching literacy and play-based learning. The school also won the 2025 PBIS Gold Award, which shows how well it has kept the campus culture positive and safe.
