Being Updated
Barona Indian Charter School is currently hosting student-led workshops focused on the Kumeyaay language and tribal traditions to integrate cultural heritage with state academic standards. The school just finished its spring garden harvest, where students learned about farming in the area and how to grow food in a way that doesn't hurt the environment. Families are getting ready for the tribal community celebration and the chance to enroll their kids first in the 2026–2027 school year.
