Withrow Elementary has started new programs for the school year 2025–2026 that will help kids learn to read and write better and become better people. The people who run the school want it to be a nice place for kids to be and want to be a part of it. Withrow is working with the district to make sure that every student has what they need to do well in school.
Q1. Do families of new kindergarten students at Withrow Elementary School get an orientation program?
Ans. Every year, the school holds a "Kindercamp" or orientation session to help new students and their parents feel at home on campus.
Q2. What kinds of counseling help can Withrow Elementary School students get?
Ans. A school counselor is available on-site to help students of all ages with their emotions and teach them social skills.
Q3. What does Withrow Elementary School do to encourage good behavior among students on the playground?
Ans. The school uses Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to reward students for following the "Withrow Way" every day.
Q4. Do students at Withrow Elementary School have to use certain school-issued technology?
Ans. Students use iPads for different lessons in class to help them learn the digital skills they will need for their future academic careers.
Q5. Does Withrow Elementary School have a place outside where students can learn or garden?
Ans. The campus has outdoor areas where students can do science and nature-based projects that involve hands-on learning.
