The Glendale Unified School District recently held its annual Back to School Community Resource Fair. It gave students and families from Cerritos Elementary and other schools free backpacks, school supplies, health screenings, and counseling resources before the start of the new school year.
Q1. Does Cerritos Elementary School have programs before or after school?
Ans: Yes, depending on the district's schedule and enrollment, there may be extended day programs or enrichment activities.
Q2: Does the school offer counseling services?
Ans. In general, the school provides counseling or student support services to help with academic and social-emotional needs.
Q3. What can parents do to help out at school?
Ans. After meeting the district's requirements, parents can get involved through the PTA, volunteering in the classroom, and attending school events.
Q4. Do students have access to technology at school?
Ans. Yes, students usually have access to technology in the classroom, like computers or tablets, to help them learn.
Q5. How do new students sign up?
Ans. Families must give the school office or the online system proof of where they live, their vaccination records, and fill out all of the district registration forms.
