Being Updated
The "Best of Gilroy 2025" awards gave the Power School After School Program at El Roble Elementary the Gold Award for Best After School Program. The YMCA, Youth Alliance, and the Gilroy Unified School District all work together on this program. It focuses on giving students structured activities and help outside of school hours. The award shows how the program helps students get involved and grow. Staff and partners are still helping students have meaningful things to do after school. This success shows that the school is committed to making sure its students have a safe and well-rounded place to learn.
