Gardena Elementary had a "Coffee with the Principal" event this February to talk about what's new on campus and the new family calendar of events. To promote social-emotional learning and good relationships with classmates, the school community took part in a Valentine's Day Kindness Spirit Week. Local leaders are telling everyone to visit the new school website often to get important news and alerts.

Ans. Upper-grade students can join the Student Council to help plan school activities and represent the student body's interests.

Ans. This annual event encourages students to perform daily acts of service and participate in themed dress-up days.

Ans. Fourth and fifth-grade students can participate in the district’s music program to learn woodwind or string instruments.

Ans. The school provides translated documents and interpreter services to ensure all families can stay informed about their children.

Ans. Students participate in the "Hour of Code" and utilize digital platforms to learn basic computer programming logic.
