William Saroyan Elementary School reported the largest English Learner progress gains in the district during 2025. The school more than doubled the number of students showing progress on the LPAC exam, according to district results. Principal Joelle Mills attributed the improvement to certifying English Learner teachers to administer the assessments, helping students feel more comfortable during testing.
