Lane Elementary School received a school-wide shoe donation in April 2025. The nonprofit Shoes That Fit, in partnership with local donors Lou and Dena McMurray, provided brand-new athletic shoes to all 575 students on campus. The initiative was carried out to reduce financial barriers for families while supporting student confidence and attendance.
