Daly City, south of San Francisco, has over 100,000 residents and is known for its coastal views and diverse culture. The Jefferson Elementary School District mostly serves elementary schools, but there are also a few private schools. Schools place a strong emphasis on academics, providing assistance to students in learning English, and providing extracurricular activities in the arts and sports. Because it contains neighborhoods that are distinct from one another and communities that are centered on families, Daly City is an excellent location for elementary schools to consider establishing their campuses.
