Ceres, California, is a growing city in Stanislaus County in the middle of the Central Valley. It has about 49,000 people and is family-friendly. Ceres is known for its farming history and close-knit community. It has a suburban feel and is close to Modesto, which makes it easy to get to. The Ceres Unified School District runs a number of public elementary schools that focus on building strong basic skills in reading, math, science, and technology.
