In March 2026, Sundance Elementary will be taking part in District Town Hall meetings to talk about future educational goals and ways to keep the community safe. The school recently held parent orientation sessions to talk about the new AM/PM Kindergarten schedule changes that had to be made because more kids were enrolling. As part of the district's growing 21st-century learning options, students are also taking part in the District Esports Tournament.
