In March 2026, Sundance Elementary will be taking part in District Town Hall meetings to talk about future educational goals and ways to keep the community safe. The school recently held parent orientation sessions to talk about the new AM/PM Kindergarten schedule changes that had to be made because more kids were enrolling. As part of the district's growing 21st-century learning options, students are also taking part in the District Esports Tournament.

Ans. Dedicated specialists provide daily small-group instruction to help students develop academic English skills while succeeding in their core subjects.
Q2. What is the official mascot of Sundance Elementary School and its school colors?
Ans. The mascot is the Scorpion, and the campus colors are burgundy and gold, which students wear for spirit day events.
Q3. How are student medications managed by the health office at Sundance Elementary School?
Ans. All prescriptions must be kept in a locked cabinet and require a signed physician's authorization for administration on campus.
Q4. Does Sundance Elementary School host an annual open house for the community?
Ans. The school holds a spring showcase event where families can tour classrooms and view student academic projects and artistic work.
Q5. Are there any physical education requirements for students at Sundance Elementary School?
Ans. All students receive at least 200 minutes of physical education every ten days as mandated by California state education code.
