Being Updated
Highland Academy has put out its 2025–2026 Academic Calendar, which shows important testing dates and the planned spring break in April 2026. Families in the Beaumont area who want to send their kids to a charter school can still apply to enroll at the school. The district's Expanded Learning Department also runs winter enrichment programs for current students, like the Scholars on Vacation program.
Q1. What are the benefits of Highland Academy's K-8 structure for the older students who go there?
Ans. Middle school students at the academy help younger kids with their reading and act as mentors in a close-knit group.
Q2. Do students at Highland Academy have to wear the same school uniform every day?
Ans. Yes, students are required to wear a uniform that includes a certain color polo shirt and navy or khaki pants.
Q3. How do you sign up a new student at Highland Academy charter school?
Ans. The school runs an independent lottery system every spring for open spots in all grades because it is a charter school.
Q4. Does Highland Academy have sports teams for middle school students that are competitive?
Ans. The school has volleyball and basketball teams that students can join after school. This helps them learn how to work together and improve their athletic skills.
Q5. Does Highland Academy offer any special music or arts classes?
Ans. As part of their weekly elective rotations, students can choose from a number of performing arts activities, such as choir and drama.
