The school recently celebrated a "Community Partnerships Day" in late 2025, highlighting local business contributions to the school's garden and science programs. For the spring 2026 semester, the administration is focusing on expanding after-school enrichment opportunities through the district's Expanded Learning program.
Q1. Do families who qualify for free transportation at Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary?
Ans. Yes, the school gives low-income families who live more than a mile from campus free bus rides.
Q2: What age do kids need to be to join the Joli Ann Leichtag TK program in 2026–2027?
Ans. The transitional kindergarten program is open to students who will be four years old by September 1, 2026.
Q3. Can students who are still in school or who have already graduated ask for transcripts from Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary?
Ans. The San Marcos district office can help students get transcripts for a number of reasons, such as joining the military or moving to another country.
Q4. Is Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary an official place for people to vote?
Ans. During local, state, and national elections, the school campus is an official place to vote.
Q5. Do parent volunteers at Joli Ann Leichtag have to go through a clearance process?
Ans. Before they can work on the school campus, all volunteers must go through a specific clearance process.
