Being Updated
Monte Bella Elementary has established an initiative on January 15, 2026, to provide students at Monte Bella an opportunity for wellness regarding their physical and mental health. This program consists of structured break times for movement, time for mindfulness, and discussions in class about maintaining healthy lifestyles. As a result, teachers have commented that students have demonstrated greater ability to concentrate and display positive behavior following the launch of this program. Families received resource materials to assist them in their efforts to foster wellness in their homes. This initiative reflects the school's desire to create balanced, well-rounded learners through the combination of instruction and the development of social and emotional skills for a healthy overall student experience.
