The 2025 California Honor Roll status shows how committed North Terrace School is to helping its TK-8 students do well in school. The school recently celebrated the fact that its staff was named one of Oceanside's "Heroes of Oceanside" for 2025. This shows how much they care about the community. North Terrace is also an important part of the district's plans to modernize, which will make sure that students have a great place to learn for many years to come.
Q1. Does North Terrace Elementary offer elective courses for 7th and 8th graders?
Ans. Middle school students can choose from electives like digital media, art, and leadership to broaden their learning experience.
Q2. Does North Terrace Elementary have a sports program for middle school students?
Ans. During the school year, the school takes part in district-wide middle school leagues for sports like basketball, volleyball, and cross-country.
Q3. Do older students at North Terrace Elementary have a career day?
Ans. Every year, professionals come to talk to students about different career paths and the education they need to get there.
Q4. Are there lockers for middle school students at North Terrace Elementary?
Ans. No, students usually carry their things in backpacks so they can move quickly between their different subject classrooms.
Q5. Does North Terrace Elementary have a program to help kids who are starting kindergarten?
Ans. Before the first day of school, the school holds an orientation for new families to help students get to know the campus.
