Since 1974, the Montessori Schoolhouse in Tucson, Arizona, has been cultivating young learners and has grown to be one of Tucson's most established schools. Montessori Schoolhouse serves preschool through middle school and combines the Montessori philosophy with a strong academic curriculum in math, reading, science, geography, and the arts. It is a hands-on, experience-based, and independent-learning environment with many programs, including music, Spanish, yoga, chess, and sports. Parents report that their children flourish socially, academically, and emotionally in a nurturing environment with open communication. Because of its excellent reputation, ability to develop the whole child, and track record for student growth, the Montessori Schoolhouse is frequently thought of among the best elementary schools in Arizona.
