About EL CAMINO REAL ACADEMY COMMUNITY

El Camino Real Academy Community is a charter school in Santa Fe, New Mexico, that is open to students in grades K–8. There are about 350 to 400 students at the school, and the student-to-teacher ratio is low at about 12:1. This means that classes are small and teachers can give each student their full attention. People know that the El Camino Real Academy Community is all about project-based learning, experiential education, and a curriculum that includes the outdoors. These methods help students learn to think critically, work together, and solve problems in the real world. There are a lot of Hispanic and Latino students at the school, and the student body is very diverse. According to data from U.S. News, students' scores in Math and English Language Arts are usually close to or just below the state average. The school is always trying to help students learn new things and get better at what they already know. Because it is a charter school, it gets the same amount of money as New Mexico's public schools. It pays for things like teachers, staff, and extra programs. The school is in a neighborhood that values the arts, the environment, and different ways of learning. Families are very involved in the school. El Camino Real Academy Community has a unique way of teaching that focuses on getting students involved and letting them learn by doing. They also give students chances to keep getting better at school.
