Q1. Is the SPARRK Online Academy still open?
Ans. SPARRK Online Academy used to be an online school run by Rio Rancho Public Schools, but it stopped regular operations. Families should check with the district to see if the school is still open.
Q2. What kind of learning model did SPARRK use?
Ans. The academy used a fully virtual learning model, which included live online classes, digital coursework, and help from teachers who were not there in person.
Q3. Could students from other places besides Rio Rancho sign up?
Ans. Most of the students who signed up were from the Rio Rancho Public Schools district, but some students could transfer to other districts if they wanted to.
Q4. How did you keep track of attendance and participation in the online format?
Ans. Daily log-ins, live class participation, and finishing online assignments were all ways to keep track of student attendance.
Q5. Did SPARRK offer services for special education and ELL?
Ans.Yes, eligible students got help with special education and learning English through virtual service delivery.
