Loveland Elementary School is located at 8201 Pacific Street, Omaha, in a western neighborhood of the city. The school serves grades PK–6 and enrolls about 287 students. The student–teacher ratio is roughly 15:1. Recent state-reported data show approximately 82% of students are proficient in math and 77% are proficient in reading. About 50% of the student body is male and 50% female. The educational environment is inviting and focused on academic achievement, with staff believing it is their responsibility to promote both individual development and a sense of community. The houses in the nearby area are mostly priced between $230K and $300K, and that is considered a pretty good deal by most of the families if they take the reputation of the school into account. Parents often express their appreciation for the loving and watchful teachers, as well as the strong communication between the school and home. Loveland Elementary School is, due to its excellent academic performance and participation in the community activities, one of the top elementary schools in ????????????????Nebraska.
