Woodman Elementary School held an AVID Day (Advancement Via Individual Determination) event in September 2025. The activities supported college-readiness skills and student goal-setting.

Ans. Woodman wants students to be polite, responsible, and safe, and staff members always remind them of these rules in all parts of the school.

Ans. The school has a monitored traffic pattern and supervised entry points to make sure students can safely get from their cars to the building.

Ans. Parents get reminders, events, and school news through newsletters, website posts, and communication with teachers.
Q4. How can parents get involved at Woodman?
Ans. Families can help out, go to school events, and join parent groups that support programs and bring people together.
Q5. What does Woodman do to help students stay healthy?
Ans. Through SEL activities, students learn how to manage themselves, feel for others, and solve problems. They can also get help from counselors when they need it.
