Being Updated
A 5th-grade class at Snake River Elementary recently went to the Nampa City Council and asked for a new crosswalk and better traffic safety near the school. This was a strong example of student initiative. Their well-prepared presentation, which included a model and thoughtful testimonies, led city officials to start a formal review of the intersection. This shows that young voices can make a difference in civic life.
