MoonCampaign by Khaliq (9 years)
Khaliq presented his Digital Dice project, coded for the micro:bit. The dice rolls a random number from 1 to 6 each time the device is shaken. For each possible outcome, Khaliq assigned a creative emotion or icon to display: “sad” for two, “kind of good” for three, “good” for four, “happy” for five, and “fabulous” for the lucky six. Despite briefly losing his code, Khaliq persevered, rebuilt his project, and delivered a clear, enthusiastic demonstration. His Digital Dice didn’t just display numbers—it responded with expressive feedback, showcasing both programming logic and imaginative design, earning praise from both teacher and parents.

Khaliq stood tall, a little nervous but excited. “Hello, my name is Khaliq. I made a project named Digital Dice—hope you enjoy.”
He explained: “When you shake the micro:bit, it picks a random number from one to six. Each number gets its own expression on the screen: two is sad, three is kind of good, four is good, five is happy, and six—well, that’s fabulous!”

The future of work is changing rapidly. According to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025, while AI is expected to create 69 million new jobs globally by 2030, it is also projected to eliminate 83 million roles, especially those involving routine and repetitive tasks. Project-based learning pushes children beyond memorization. It teaches them to experiment, debug mistakes, solve unexpected problems, and think independently. When kids build, test, fail, improve, and present their work, they develop the exact mindset needed to thrive in an AI-driven world—not just as users of technology, but as future creators and innovators.
