Jonathan Fidani

Jonathan Fidani is the Founder and College Consultant at College Clarity Consulting, serving the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley since 2019. He offers personalized college planning services for students in grades 9-12, focusing on minimizing stress, strengthening family relationships, and delivering successful outcomes. His comprehensive services include developing college lists, application and essay writing support, financial aid strategies, and admission advocacy. Jonathan has also served as a College & Career Counselor at Henry M. Gunn High School in the Palo Alto Unified School District since 2016. In this role, he provides guidance to a large caseload of students, covering academic, career, and social/emotional development, and facilitating support services like IEPs and 504s.

His background includes experience as an Undergraduate Application Reader for UCLA from 2014 to 2020, giving him valuable insight into how applications are evaluated at highly selective public universities. Previously, he worked as a Counselor at The Webb Schools, an independent boarding school in Claremont, CA, from 2010 to 2016, where he provided therapeutic services and contributed to health education programs. He began his counseling career as a Veterans Affairs Counselor at Azusa Pacific University.

Jonathan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and holds a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) in School Counseling. He earned a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Azusa Pacific University. He also holds a Certificate in College Counseling from UC San Diego Extension. He is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
