About Andrea Glenn
Andrea Glenn serves as Director of Post-Secondary & Community Engagement at the Arizona Department of Education since June 2020. She oversees statewide initiatives connecting high school students to college and career pathways. Previously, she worked as Post-Secondary Coordinator within the same department. Her leadership focuses on nonprofit capacity building, curriculum development and program implementation across Arizona schools.
From July 2019 to September 2021, Andrea directed College & Career Programs at South Pointe High School and Phoenix Collegiate Academy. She managed college-going culture, scholarship programs and dual enrollment opportunities. Before that, she served nearly seven years as College-Going Counselor at ASU Prep Academy-South Phoenix from 2012 to 2019. Her experience spans public charter schools and comprehensive high schools serving diverse Phoenix communities.
Andrea brings expertise in grant writing, fundraising and public speaking to her work. She builds partnerships between schools, colleges and community organizations. Her social work background informs her commitment to first-generation and low-income students.
