David Musielak

David Musielak is a nationally certified counselor and New York State permanently certified school counselor with more than fourteen years of experience supporting high school students on their academic and post-secondary paths. He currently serves as a school counselor at North Tonawanda High School, a role he has held since 2020, where he provides comprehensive academic, social-emotional and college planning support. His counseling practice is grounded in professional membership and engagement with organizations such as NACAC, NYSACAC, ASCA and ACA, which keeps his work aligned with current best practices in secondary and post-secondary counseling.?

Before joining North Tonawanda, David served for five years as a school counselor at Charter School for Applied Technologies and four years as an upperclassman and college counselor at Oracle Charter School in the Buffalo Niagara region. In these roles, he specialized in guiding juniors and seniors through college research, applications and financial aid, with a focus on first-generation and low-income students in urban school settings. His background in psychology and school counseling training at Buffalo State University and Canisius University provides a strong foundation for work with diverse learners, including students with learning differences or complex family circumstances.
