Spokane is the second largest city in Washington, with a population of about 230,000. It is in eastern Washington along the Spokane River and is a regional center for trade, education, and health care. The city has a good mix of things to do inside and outside, like parks, trails, and lakes that are close by. There are a lot of public, charter, and private schools in Spokane Public Schools and the areas around it. The city has many colleges and universities, which boosts academic culture. Spokane is a wonderful place to live and study because it has a lower cost of living than other West Coast cities, more job openings, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
