Parkersburg, West Virginia, is a lovely city with about 29,000 people living there. It is located along the Ohio River. Parkersburg Middle School and North Bend Middle School are two of the middle schools in the city. They serve students in grades 6–8. The Wood County school systems main goal is to give students a well-rounded education that includes academics, career readiness, and extracurricular activities. Parkersburg is a wonderful place for families to live because it has a low cost of living, community events, and lots of outdoor activities. West Virginia University at Parkersburg is also in the city, which gives families looking for a quality education access to higher education and cultural events.
