Bayside 6th Grade Campus in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is a public school that only serves sixth-graders. There are about 650 students at the school, and the student-teacher ratio is about 13:1. This makes for a supportive learning environment where each student can get the attention they need. Bayside 6th Grade Campus focuses on a well-rounded curriculum that includes core subjects like math, English language arts, science, and social studies, as well as enrichment programs in art, music, and physical education. Consolidation to Strengthen Student Experience
The Virginia Beach School Board unanimously approved consolidating the 6th Grade Campus with Bayside Middle School, a move supported by staff. This integration is expected to provide students with expanded access to extracurricular activities and improved continuity across grades.
