About Union 6Th-7Th Grade Ctr

Union 6th–7th Grade Center is a public middle school that is part of Union Public Schools and serves grades 6–7. There are about 2,180 students at the school, and there is about one teacher for every 17 students. This is because it is a large transitional campus for early middle school students. There are a lot of different kinds of students at the school, and a lot of them are from minority groups in the greater Tulsa area. The Union 6th–7th Grade Center focuses on building basic skills, helping students stay organized, and getting ready for upper middle school classes. The main subjects taught in core instruction are math, English language arts, science, and social studies. Counseling and academic support services help with these subjects. Based on the data we have, about 18% of students meet the standards for being good at math, and 19% meet the standards for being good at reading. Union 6th–7th Grade Center is in a suburban area of Tulsa County that has a good reputation in the community. It offers stability and scale. The school has a lot of potential because of its structured transition model, consistent teaching framework, and all-around support systems for students, making it one of the top schools in Oklahoma
