The Ms. 113 Ronald Edmonds Learning Center recently announced the first all-girls drone soccer team. The team is slated to play in the Battle of the Boroughs and has qualified to represent the school at the FIDA Drone Soccer International Competition in California. The program exposes students to structured competition that includes technology skills, teamwork and strategic play. The milestone increases the participation of women in new extracurricular activities rooted in STEM.
