Jersey City, New Jersey, is a busy city on the Hudson River, directly across from Lower Manhattan. There are about 290,000 people who live there. The city is famous for its rich culture, historic neighborhoods, and active arts and business scene. It has a city lifestyle with neighborhoods that are good for families. Most of the middle schools in Jersey City are run by the Jersey City Public Schools district. It runs a lot of private and charter schools, as well as a few public middle schools. The districts main goals are to help all students do well in school, welcome them, and help them grow through STEM programs, the arts, sports, and other activities outside of school. Several schools have been named the best in the state and have won awards for it. Jersey City is a great place for families to send their kids to middle school because it has a lot of different schools, a lot of community involvement, and a lot of cultural diversity.
