Edison, New Jersey, is a suburban township in Middlesex County with about 100,000 people living there. It is in the middle of New Jersey and is family-friendly. It is also easy to get to New York City and major business centers. The Edison Township Public Schools district is the main provider of middle school education in Edison. There are also a number of private and parochial schools with high academic standards. The school system puts a lot of stress on academic excellence, cultural diversity, and student growth through STEM programs, the arts, sports, and other activities outside of school. Several schools in the district have received state and national recognition, including the National Blue Ribbon Award. Edison is a great place for families looking for a good middle school because it has highly rated schools, safe neighborhoods, and a strong sense of community.
