Being Updated
A lot of people are excited at Christopher Columbus Middle School! Thanks to the Dig In! Grant from City Green, students were able to plant bulbs and perennials in the school courtyard not too long ago. The school is also having a Holiday Shop where kids can learn how to budget and help their community. Also, students showed off their creativity by doing a rhythm project that mixed music and poetry and by performing their own poems in the style of slam poetry.

Ans. Students can think critically, be creative, and learn about many subjects through hands-on projects, group lessons, and activities that require them to ask questions.
Q2. What kinds of creative activities does the school offer?
Ans. Students can discover their talents, express themselves through art, and improve their creative skills through programs in music, theater, visual arts, and creative writing.
Q3. What do you do to keep your students healthy?
Ans. Counseling, mindfulness exercises, and wellness workshops can help students learn how to deal with stress, become stronger, and stay emotionally healthy.
Q4. How likely are students to become leaders?
Ans. Student councils, mentorship programs, and group projects that students do together help them learn how to be responsible, work as a team, and talk to each other.
Q5. How does the school get families and the community involved?
Ans. Family workshops, volunteer projects, and school events are all great ways for people to get involved and connect with each other in a meaningful way.
