Coronado is a lovely resort town in California San Diego County. "Crowned" is a Spanish word. The Silver Strand sandbar and the famous San Diego–Coronado Bridge connect it to the mainland. The Hotel del Coronado, which was built in 1888 and is now a National Historic Landmark, and the city beautiful, wide beaches with sparkling white sand are well-known. Coronado gets many visitors. It feels like a nice ocean village, with a busy main street, cute shops, and restaurants right on the beach. The Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) and the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, where Navy SEALs train, are also important U.S. Navy bases. Coronado is a wonderful place to live, work, and visit. Because the weather is mild and sunny all year, millions of people come to see it every year.
