This lets teachers work with small groups of students and teach each one in the way that works best for them. The school teaches mostly language arts, math, science, and social studies. There are also a lot of electives, clubs, and arts that students can choose from. Teachers use technology and project-based learning to help students learn how to think for themselves and talk to each other better. Amphitheater has classes that show people how to be leaders and work together. It also helps you learn about your feelings and how to get along with other people. Families like the way the community is and the things that happen after school, like sports and study groups. Amphitheater Middle School celebrated its 70th Anniversary in 2024 and was recently awarded a significant grant to enhance its "MakerSpace" technology lab for hands-on student engineering projects.
