Stowe is a famous resort town with about 5,200 people living there. It is located in the Green Mountains at the foot of Mount Mansfield. The town is known for its high-end lifestyle and elite skiing, but it also has a great public school system. The local high school is always one of the best in Vermont. It often makes the top 10 for college readiness and academic excellence. The school system has a tough curriculum that focuses on the arts, outdoor education, and being a good global citizen. Students do better in small classes and have a lot of chances to do things outside of school, like join ski teams that win championships or take part in advanced performing arts programs.
