Saint Albans is a historic "railroad city" in northwestern Vermont with a population of about 7,000. People know it for its downtown that has been brought back to life and its location near Lake Champlain. There are a lot of different ways to get an education in the city. For example, there is a big public high school that everyone can go to, as well as a number of private schools. The local school system is fair and offers a lot of different classes, such as college prep classes and technical education programs. The main high school has gotten better-than-average ratings for how many students there are for each teacher and how much they care about helping students do well.
