About Hunter High

Hunter High is a well-known public high school in West Valley City, Utah, that serves about 2,500 students in grades 9–12. It is one of ten high schools in the Granite District and is known as one of the best because of its wide range of academic and career-focused programs. Hunter High School has added new concurrent enrollment courses in partnership with Salt Lake Community College to its college-readiness program. These courses let students earn credit in advanced math and social studies. The school recently finished remodeling its performing arts center, which now has better acoustics and seating to better host its award-winning theater and music shows. In addition, a new peer-mentoring program has been set up to help students of all ages with their schoolwork and give them chances to be leaders.
