Being Updated
The Bond 2020 program is currently funding a $35 million renovation of Houston High School. This includes building a new competition gym, a black box theater, and a modernized student entrance with "learning stairs." Recently, students showed off their creative leadership by designing and painting a mural for the 2026 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Local news covered the mural's hurricane-inspired concept development as a big deal. The construction program at the campus also helps the community by working with local groups to build 100 beds for kids in need.
