East Central High School is celebrating big academic and extracurricular achievements, such as being named a CTE District of Distinction for its outstanding career and technical education. The campus is getting ready for the Class of 2026 graduation, which will take place on May 27 at the Alamodome. The school's Electrathon Team also did very well at the High Plains competition, coming in second place. Several students also made it onto the Texas All-State Choir, which is a big deal.
