William B. Travis H.S. is honoring several student-athletes who recently made the Academic All-State basketball team for their outstanding performance in both the classroom and on the court. The campus is actively starting its 2026-27 Student Wellness Coalition and is asking students to take the lead in promoting mental and physical health throughout the district. The school also continues to get top marks in core subjects from the state, which shows that it is one of the best schools in the area.
