The school has about 3,395 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 18:1, so it can offer structured classroom learning and one-on-one help to each student. Pearland High has a full college-preparatory curriculum that includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes, electives, and extracurricular activities that help students grow both academically and personally. In 2026, the Pride of Pearland band from Pearland High School was chosen to play in the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They were one of only ten bands from across the country to get a spot and a $10,000 grant to help with travel and preparation.
